Overview
B0 inhomogeneity causes distortion, signal loss and poor fat suppression, and it gets worse at higher field. Multi-coil shim arrays work best close to the body, which is the space the RF coil also needs. Our RF-transparent shim coils solve this conflict: they correct B0 locally without blocking or detuning the RF field.
